Getting older

My mother recently remodeled the front walk to their home with flowers, decorations & brick edging. I think she did a great job. It really improves the curb appeal.









Shortly after we moved in, my mother planted these shrubs & rose bushes. I know I've grown up & so has the house but I still can't believe how tall they both are now. The roses bloom so well, don't they?

I remember one time I was helping my mom do some weeding when I accidently pulled up a bunch of strawberry plants on the side of the porch! I felt so awful that I didn't weed again for a very long time!







When they put this tree in (around 1988), it was only twice the size of the mailbox. How long ago it seems...
