Boys with toys

Yesterday I was feeling icky with general pregnancy aches so we ate at Pizza Hut for dinner to get out of the house. While we were waiting for the food, my hubby & son played in the game room. Just like a boy, my son started to play with the shooting games. As long as he learns the difference, I’m okay with that.

Which care bears did I get this time?

Already using his male instincts & going straight for the shooting game!

Finally a bigger gun!
After dinner we stopped at the pet store to get some pet supplies for the goldfish my son received at the fair on Saturday. He’s been very excited about having his own goldfish to feed. Last stop was getting our groceries at Wal-Mart. While I rested in the front of the store while my hubby & son were checking out, I had an episode of sorts. Almost immediately after sitting down, I started getting nauseous & cramping more. Then I started to sweat profusely & feel like I was going to pass out in addition to the nausea & cramps. All I could do was hang on to the bench for dear life & wait it out. A few minutes later, my hubby came up & realized I was feeling very sick. He knew it was bad when my upper lip was sweating & I almost never sweat. We called the doctor right away but luckily the symptoms started to lessen one by one after about five minutes of being very bad. It was decided that since I was starting to feel better that we would wait, rest at home & go in for monitoring if it happened again. After getting home, I rested on the sofa while my hubby & son put away groceries & set-up the new home for Mr. Goldfish. Finally about an hour after the episode began, all the symptoms with the exception of my cramping had disappeared & I was starting to feel a slightly steadier on my feet. Needless to say, I went straight to bed & have no idea what triggered the episode. The ironic part was that I wasn’t worried about the baby itself because s/he was kicking up a storm even during the entire episode in Wal-Mart. Talk about the unexpected though!
