What most men don’t do until college…

Daughter’s 9-month check-up went well. She’s still growing at the 97% growth rate & is still proportionate. There are no problems & she’s outgrown her acid reflux which means we can finally purchase the bulk can at the same price. She weighed in at 23 lbs & 29.5 inches long. She has a slight cough left-over caused from post-nasal drip.

Son was diagnosed with a childhood variance of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) & hopefully some medication will take care of it. We’ll see how things are in a few weeks from now.

Son was a great little helper after seeing an episode of Caillou where the kids helped with the chores. Son helped put laundry into the dryer & then said ‘Let’s do my clothes now.” He pulled his hamper from his bedroom to the laundry room door, threw the dirty clothes individually into the washing machine, sat on the washing machine to pour soap in, push all correct buttons & start it – ALL BY HIMSELF! Now if only we can continue this, especially since most men don’t even attempt it until they leave for college.

Son played so nicely with Daughter the other day. He’s really getting into playing with her (instead of beside her) now that she’s interacting with him as well.

Although my sinus infection has kept me stuffy, we spent a beautiful day at the zoo this weekend. It was lovely enjoying the warm weather.
