Busy tired bee

This past weekend was very busy. Friday we got ready to visit my in-law's only to discover our son had developed a fever. So we stayed home & took him to the doctor the next morning. It was a viral infection which we couldn't really do anything for other than wait it out. So we went to my in-law's to keep him occupied & by Sat night he was fine with his appetite back. We went to the beach where our son had fun with the sand & water, even dumping it over me (by Daddy's suggestion) when my legs were buried!

Monday we headed home. Our son ate lunch & played while Daddy put a nice edging around our flower bed. Then it was off to run errands & have dinner with my family for my sister's birthday, J. Afterwards she opened up birthday & baby shower gifts.

Tuesday my hubby finished the flower bed edging, in addition to planting some new flowers & edging around our tree. Then it was a nice BBQ with yummy food at our friends'.

Today I couldn't get the energy to do what I needed to around the house. These long weekends really kick my butt!

Tomorrow we're going to a memorial for my in-law's relative while my parents babysit our son.

Sorry no pics for now but I'm exhausted!
