Happy Halloween

On Halloween my son & I both were feeling better in the afternoon so we decided to carve the pumpkins about an hour before trick or treating started. He got so excited each time the doorbell rang. My son loved handing out candy to the kids & would say trick-or-treat back to them also. Without fail, he always held out one piece of candy as the kids were walking away & he'd say "Wait! Where you going?"The parents always got a kick over that. I even made some special cookies & bread for the neighbors who came around. The only downside this year is we had twice as much candy leftover because we only had half the number of kids come around this year. It was a little odd when we had so many kids come around last year.






















My hubby dressed as Jesus, I was a nun & our son was a fireman (it was warmer than the superman outfit). Then all three of us went trick-or-treating just around the six or so neghbors' houses.
