Sunday my hubby let me sleep in again but I got up after a few hours so we could get the day started. After my hubby made a yummy lunch of salmon for us, he & I started cleaning out the garage while our son played nearby outside.
Then our neighbor watched our son & he played with her two girls while we attended a local meeting about adoption. It was very informative about adoptive options & helped us realize that domestic adoption would be another option for us if our final IVF try doesn't work this year. I feel really good about where we are either way. After the meeting we chatted for a while & found out our son behaved very well with the neighbor's baby. I guess he's learning from the 'lessons' with baby Tommy (his own baby).
That evening we started cleaning up our garage (since we haven'tbeen able to park either car there since May!). That involved me carrying the light stuff downstairs & putting the donation materials in the car to drop off. My hubby installed some cabinets & put up hooks for various items (i.e. bikes, tools, wheelbarrow, wagon, etc). He also brought up the small dresser to the guest room. Then he helped me finish putting the storage cabinet (for my yarn) together which I completely filled earlier today with my four large bags of yarn.
Tonight I'm going to clean out the small dresser & finish putting the rest of my yarn away along with may some sheet sets from the guest closet. By next weekend we should have our garage 'winterized' & be able to pull both cars in! Hopefully we'll get to the front porch & back ard by then too.
