My cousin made it through a 2nd year at the Miss Teen USA contest for her state. We are so proud of her! It's great to see her pursuing her dreams & her family supports her completely.
I myself was selected to compete in my state's Miss Teen contest during my senior year in high school. I was told I actually made it into the top forty. Although I loved the experience, I knew I didn't want to pursue myself. Besides, too much drama was going on in my family back then & that was more than enough to keep me occupied, in addition to school, choir & friends!
