Earth's Resources

I read an article today about this 'Compact' group which pledges to not buy anything (with the exception of groceries, neccessary attire & health/safety materialistic items. The goal is to continue NOT replenishing the Earth's resources. After thinking about it, it's a very admirable to do but I can't imagine doing it myself. I wish I could, point in fact. It's not that I'm unware of how were depleting Earth's resources; actually I'm very understanding & try to do what I can in our lifestyle to prevent filling up the landfills. Most of our home is filled with items we received from Freecycle or other online trading sites similar to it. Heck, everything in our backyard cost us about $15 total.

My hat is off to these people who choose & follow this lifestyle!
