I think almost everyone has a few teachers that they really connect with during school. For myself, it quite a few that I rembember fondly. My two favorites are my first grade teacher, Mrs. Shermorhorn (which I know I spelled wrong), & my 8th grade homeroom teacher, Doc Friedl. While my first grade teacher taught me the love of reading, my 8th grade homeroom teacher lent me book after book from her classroom 'library' to continue my love. After high school I tried to keep in touch with both of them, although I lost track of my first grade teacher. To this day, my 8th grade teacher & I still keep in touch every now & then & with christmas cards/letters. I am very glad of this.
