This morning when our son woke up early, he got straight into trouble. He came downstairs, pulled a chair against the kitchen cabinets, climbed up, opened the bread I left on the counter to take bites out of various pieces of bread to leave it on the counter & in the coffeepot & finally he got hold of a hole punch which I found sitting in a dirty wine glass next to the bread. As a grand finale, he came back upstairs to watch cartoons naked in the activity room & peed on the carpet floor. You can only imagine our faces when we woke up. It seems he's getting up earlier these days, avoiding our room & getting straight into whatever is NOT locked up. Since we already keep our pantry & fridge locked up overnight, the next logical step is to hide the appliances & never leave a dirty dish out which is just ridiculous.
I don't know if this morning's antics were funnier or weirder than finding our son pouring cocoa cereal into our coffeepot. Kids are definitely imaginative!
