A few weeks ago, my mother found me a nice, long, black maternity dress to wear to my sister's wedding coming up. I am glad my sister wanted me to stand up as a bridesmaid (even with our differences) because I do value my relationship with her & want her to be happy. I just wish everyone involved could be happy as it's meant to be a day of rejoicing.
Anyhow, I hope she & her fiance are going to be happy with the realization that marriage takes two people working & compromising together. It's hard work which is truly worth it. Although it may not always seem like it when you're fighting, that's when you have to love your spouse the most & be willing to work through any differences as a couple. You will also share laughter, memories & joy so be thankful for the disagreements too. It's all a great package that takes two to create & cherish!
