Myths founded on truth

There have been several news stories about how a canadian filmmaker claimed to have located the grave of Jesus, his wife (Mary Magdalene) and son at a site unearthed in Jerusalem in 1980. It makes me remember that most beliefs, stories & legends are based on something that happened in history before it was elaborated. It'll be interesting to see how people respond to this story that challenges this religious belief. My guess is that many will be upset & ridicule the possiblity of it being true. For others, it will confirm that religion created its own truth. There will definately be two sides of the coin with this news.
