Today started off with... as they say, a series of unfortunate events! Our cat continued to throw up multiple times this morning (continuing from last night). That has been more than five times in the past 24 hours. She's definately sick so we're taking her to the vet today & probably having them watch her over the weekend. I hope it's nothing serious since I recently gave her some moist cat food that I thought was safe.
Next we found a small swarm of ants who had started to come in from the exterior living room wall & were attempting to overtake our living room. So now we have an exterminator coming out next week to hopefully fix the problem before it gets out of control. In the meantime, ant traps, are doing the trick.
As a result, we found the dining room rug where the cat had thrown up additional times which now needs to be professionaly cleaned. Luckily we have a local cleaner who cleans our sofa cushions & large rugs as needed & we know he does a good job. Now it's just a matter of dropping it off.
What a start to the weekend, huh? Hopefully it will get better from here! LOL
