His wacky sense of humor

Ah... my hubby & his wacky sense of humor! I do love the man though. He always makes me smile & has given me two beautiful easy-going children. I love where & what my life is & wouldn't change a darn thing. My mom has been such a great help this week helping me adjust. I've been re-learning to take of my newborn baby girl & feel very confident now.


Yesterday our new daughter's umbilical cord fell off after only one week! She appears to have an outie bellie button but it looks very raw & is spotting quite a bit so we're going to get it checked out just to be sure everything is okay. Not really sure what the options are but I want to make sure she's okay.


Today she got her jaundice level checked & the doctor verified that it is going down. Luckily she didn't cry too much this time & I was able to soothe her when she did. Meanwhile I love how our son talks about when his sister's hungry & tired. He's so gentle at giving her hugs & kisses.
