Addictive

My hubby & I were talking about my headaches that I started getting a couple of days ago. It began almost immediately after I returned from my trip. Now during the trip I drank lots of soda pretty regularly. Now before that I only drank soda on occasion with meals. Every now & then I'll have a cup of tea but that was about it. When I came back I stopped drinking soda again & the the headaches began. Tylenol has no effect on them.

So my final conclusion is that these are caffine withdrawal headaches. I had them one other time when I initially gave up soda & coffee. They're the same. I tested this theory by drinking half a soda can yesterday when Tylenol didn't work again. Sure enough... my headache went away for about 30 minutes. Then it came roaring back! Yup, definately caffine withdrawal.

This means I need to stop drinking soda until these headaches ease up which will probably be a week or two. Yesterday evening I was telling my hubby I wanted a soda so bad just to take the pain off. I then realized how awful I would be as a recovering addict. Thank goodness it's only caffine. Since I only drink on occasion & never smoke or done drugs, I don't worry about that.
