Pasta anyone?

Saturday my hubby & I went on a date night while my folks watched my son. We went to a nice Italian restaurant where all the rooms are designed like a home. It's a fantastic atmosphere with great service & good food. Since we were in a rush, we got dessert to go which was this angel food strawberry dish with whip cream. It was heavenly!

We then went to a comedy club . The last two acts were very funny. I especially respected the last comic after reading prior how he pursued his dream even after two bouts with cancer.

Afterwards we saw one of our friends there where his band had finished their set 15 min before we arrived. We were sorry to miss them. The next band which we listened to for a while had a great sound & incredible energy. The lay-out of the outdoor concert area is really nice. We'll have to check other bands out there.

Then it was off to pick up our son, head home & in bed we went. A very nice evening...
