Cobwebs

We've developed an issue with multiple spiders setting up spiderwebs by our front & back door as well as by our garage light. I've power washed them off with no result. We need to get some spider spray. I haven't noticed any other houses have this. It really bothers me but they keep coming back witha vengence. Why can't they take the hint? LOL
