My son was bitten alive by mosquitoes the other night & is covered with four to six on each limb & then two on his face! I also got my own share but now we're trying to teach him to not scratch. That makes life interesting.
This morning we visited & dropped off some local info for our new neighbors again while our driveway was being sealed. The two boys ran everywhere! (LOL) Our son was in awe of our 'new' driveway & is learning not to step on it because it's like paint. We have to wait for it to dry.
This afternoon we went to the baby doctor where I got my 35 week ultrasound done. There they informed us the baby was 'very healthy' & weighed about 6 lb & 14 oz! The normal about now is 5 & 3/4 lbs so I was startled by that. They estimate the baby will be about 9 lbs then if I go to full-term. Wow! Anyhow since I woke up, I've been getting some nasty Braxton Hicks contractions so they told me to take it easy & rest. Then this afternoon they increased tenfold & became much more frequent. At one point, my hubby had to come help me out because they were so debilitating. Meanwhile my son's been very good though listening, helping me out & being very concerned about Mommy.
Overall, today has been a good day. Life is good & only about a month til the baby is due! It's flying by!!!
