Unexpected disappointments & rendezvous

Today has been an interesting day to say the least. This morning after my in-laws picked up our son (to spend the day together again), we went to my long-awaited doctor's appointment now that I'm almost 38.5 weeks. We were hoping to hear if the doctor would induce but alas he was called away for a C-section at the hospital. So we rescheduled for an hour later only to find out the doctor wasn't back yet. Again, we rescheduled for this afternoon only to be stopped by mother nature. About ten minutes before we were going to leave for the doctor's, a tornado had been spotted in out town & sirens were going off. So there we were in the basement under a tornado warning (as well as the doctor's office). Once again, we had to reschedule again although this time for another day. I'm past the point where rescheduling is a big deal. I just want to know WHAT is going to happen when! I only hope we'll have better luck another day.
