Practicing with babies

My son being sill & holding his baby so carefully.

Make sure the pacifier is in for the night.

Time to kiss baby good night gently.

Even cats need a place to relax, even if it is the 'baby's' bed.

Today our son got very interested in learning how to hold his own baby as if it were the real one coming home soon. So he practiced holding, swaddling & rocking his baby all day. It was so cute! He was very concerned about his baby & wanted to take good care of him. At naptime & bedtime, his baby went to bed with him with the pacifier in place & all!

During the afternoon, we saw the baby doctor who confirmed things are starting to get close with no real change yet (which is good considering I'm not considered full-term until next week). We did discuss skipping the labor medication (since I went pretty far until I needed it with my son & didn't last more than an hour) & go straight for an epidural. It's an idea that I would like to try for this next & last birth.
