Leaning tower of chicken!

Tonight we went over to my hubby's folks house. Our son had to search the house for an Easter basket left by the Easter Bunny over the weekend. Each time he looked somewhere he'd say "Ah ha!" When it wasn't there, he'd reply "Noooo." When he did find it, he was quiet for a moment & started looking for more. LOL He liked the candy inside so he was allowed one small piece.

Then off to dinner we went. It was a battle of wills to get our son to finish his dinner. Some days his appetite is good while other days, you just never know. Finally he managed to finish his broccoli with melted cheese on it while sitting on his aunt's lap.

Meanwhile Grandpa built the leaning tower of chicken (made up of chicken wings bones) that was quite impressive! We all thought all he needed was to stick a flag on top & he could declare it his own. LOL

As for myself, I wasn't feeling so hot & food was the last thing on my mind but I managed to eat some.

After dinner, we all ordered ice cream! There was this train that delivered it to your table! The train tracks went around the room & against the windows. Our son was fascinated by the train (enough to be distracted from his ice cream dipped in chocolate!) & kept waiting for it to move.

It was a nice evening.
