Panic attack

Today was an interesting day. For the first time, we're trying to balance one paycheck for an entire month! Obviously it's a challenge. This morning I was getting a handle on our finances & getting up to date on our bill payments when I started stressing big-time! My hubby says it was a panic attack but it's possible he was exaggerating. That's what I choose to believe anyway. Almost immediately I started cramping very badly (probably stress-induced). It was not fun. It continued all day & is still happening on occasion.
After my son's shower, he stayed in the shower for another few minutes 'cleaning' the shower door with the washcloth (like when we clean windows together). While he was playing downstairs, he got a baby wipe from the bathroom & started 'cleaning' his toys before moving onto the table & then my face, neck, hands, etc. Once he was done 'cleaning', he put it down the back of my shirt & pushed my shirt & the wipe against my back. LOL This was very funny for him evidently. He's definitely his father's son!
During my son's nap, I got to take a quick 20 minute nap myself which helped take my mind temporarily off my cramping.
I did manage to sort all our papers to be filed. So Friday I'll be filing papers & updating our files all day. I still have to decide on what system I want to use. I'd like to move our older files to the basement but that involves clearing & organizing the boxes which have filled our basement & is blocking our other filing cabinets. It seems like the to do list always gets longer the more you get done, probably because there's just not enough hours in the day to get everything done.
Our son received a birthday gift from his relatives in Arizona. He saw the card & said 'Dog is happy birthday!" Obviously it was a picture of a dog blowing out candles on a birthday cake. LOL He loves identifying the pictures on birthday cards. When he opened the Color Wonder Finger paints & Color Wonder Paper Tablet, he said "Open!" He painted his first picture after dinner. It was pretty cool.
While we were out for dinner, I couldn't believe how cold it got! My hubby said there were actually snow flurries this afternoon. Geez! I guess we can wait another month to find bigger sandals for my son. So far this months we've had temperatures in the high 70's, mostly the mid 50's & then of course our low 30's. Crazy isn't it?
That's it for today folks. Once I get my photo program installed again, I'll start posting some recent pics.
