On saturday after the local egg hunt, we spent the afternoon at the mall. We couldn't believe how busy it was! There we went to see the Easter Bunny to find a line at least 1.5 hours long. So instead we did a little shopping, got our rings cleaned & then Mommy rode the merry-go-round with our son. On the ride, we met another little boy & his father. The boys got a kick our of riding what the other little boy called 'Santa's Sleigh' as we said "ho ho ho" during the ride. After the ride, we grabbed some lunch, watched the dancing water fountain & our son spent at least an hour playing in the toddler play area. During playtime, he came over & told Daddy he had to go poop. He held it all while getting his shoes on & waiting in line for the bathroom! We're so proud of him!
As a reward for telling us & holding his potty, we got ice cream. Our son loves to lick his own ice cream cone now. People kept smiling at our little boy walking in the mall, holding his Mommy's hand while he ate his ice cream cone.
Hmmm... I wonder why no one else is sitting on the floor.
