Recently the Illinois Senate voted to ban smoking in bars, restaurants and other workplaces across the state. The bill was passed 34-23 and now goes to the House for approval. It's a bill that everyone feels strongly about one way or another because it directly affects each person. For non-smokers, it's a relief to go to public places without worrying about how much smoke they'll breathe in. For smokers, it's limits where they can smoke. I myself am a non-smoker so obviously I am thrilled at this bill. Unfortunately I do have friends & family who are smokers that will not be happy at this news. Click here to read more.
