This morning our son left Daddy alone to sleep & recuperate as requested. He helped me get dressed, made his bed, came downstairs & took his medicines like a good boy. His fever was 100.9 when he awoke but it should go down with his medicine. At least, he's in a good mood despite being sick! I'm very lucky he has the personality he does. He's so easy-going. With any luck, baby #2 will be just as good. Either way, I'm blessed to have the family I do.

We were going to have a BBQ this weekend but with recent events we had to reschedule until my hubby completely recovers. We're also going to have to play Mother's Day by ear now. If anything, we might have family over if my hubby's up for it. Otherwise we'll be staying around home until my hubby is back to himself. For now he has to sleep reclined as not to stretch out his stomach muscles.
