Long few days

These past few days have seemed to last forever blending into one long day! Sunday night we took my husband to the hospital where he was hospitalized & operated on the following morning. Last night & today my father watched my son while I stayed with my hubby at the hospital. This afternoon I brought him home. We got great support from our neighbors who were concerned about my hubby. We're very lucky to have the neighbors we do. My hubby is doing better although he's on rest & restrictions. I'm doing everything I can to help him out. Our son has been good understanding he needs to be careful around Daddy.

After we came home, I had to call my son's doctor because he still hadn't gotten better. We got new instructions & were told to contact the doctor if he's not better in a week. Then my son developed a fever of 101.9 which we treated with Tylenol & managed to get down to 99.6 before bedtime.

I picked up some medicine & dinner while the baby was kicking my ribs & Grandpa was taking care of my hubby & son. While I was getting the medicine, I almost had a hormonal breakdown. At the drive-through, the employee mentioned "it happens now & it'll happen again." I had to laugh knowing otherwise I would break down from the stress of this week. Did I mention I can't wait for this week to be over? It's only Wednesday evening & the way this week has been going. Frankly I'm afraid what this week could bring. I hope it gets better from here on.

In other news, the baby is moving a lot & kicking up a storm. While waiting in the emergency room on Sunday night, the baby gave me a kick that made my body actually jump in response! It also has started kicking my ribs frequently which I could do without. On the other hand, I'm finding quite an appetite (for actual meals, not snacks) has developed since Monday. Up till now, I really haven't had any or much appetite. That changed which is nice so now I don't have to worry about NOT eating enough. Things are definitely progressing!
