Monk Jr

Tonight when I was putting my son to bed, he went to pick out a book by the reading chair in his bedroom. He was wearing pj's without feet & stepped on something on the floor that stuck to his feet. He stopped in his tracks, lifted one foot off the floor & kept repeating "uh-oh". I told him to simply rub it off but he kept his foot in the air, waved it around a bit & said "uh-oh" again. I couldn't help but stand there laughing. He was so distressed about something on the bottom of his foot where it obviously shouldn't be. LOL I finally went over to him & brushed off his feet. Then he went & stood on the footstool while I sat down in reading chair in front of him & the footstool. When I motioned him to join me on my lap so I could read him a story, he looked at me with a very serious face as if to say, "You think I'm going to chance walking on that floor again?" It was hilarious!!!

Yup... my little monk junior. He know the words wipe (as in baby wipe), napkin (for then his hands are dirty) & doesn't like stuff sticking to his bare feet. I find it so amusing to see this in my little boy. Who knows where he gets it from? (wink wink nudge nudge)

Have a good night ladies and gents!
