Sweet sentiments

Tonight we went to a birthday party for my hubby's Grandma today at his aunt's house. Grandma & his aunt, uncle & cousins are visiting from Arizona. The whole extended family met this evening & celebrated her 86th birthday. It was a lot of fun. Nice to be able to visit with everyone after L&A's wedding. Our son loved playing with his cousins!

As usual, I was zipping around taking pictures until I realized at the end that I wasn't in a single one! LOL So then I had my hubby snap a few. At the end, we managed to get a big family photo in with the relatives who stuck around. The ironic thing was I seemed to get the best pictures in the dark in front of the garage! How weird, huh?

Anyhow, I'll download those pictures tomorrow & upload them in the next few days. I'm having issues on how to use the categories in our gallery. That would be my hubby's area of expertise!

Some friends & family wrote me today with words of support after reading my blog today. They were concerned & offered some advice on how to deal with kid-stress. Their kind words touched my hear & made me cry to realize once again that I really am not alone in this struggle. I know in my heart things will get better... I just have to deal until that time. As always, I count myself lucky to have friends & family who take that extra time to show they care in this busy world we live in today.

My hubby & I talked about the idea of a camping trip sometime soon. The idea of a weekend away sounds so wonderful that I could cry. Maybe it'll happen sooner rather than later. Cross your fingers for us! Here's to hoping...
