Roasted pig

Today we went to our friends, C&L's annual pig roast. We weren't sure if we were going to make because my hubby's sister, had her college graduation ceremony today for her nursing masters' degree.

We were planning on going to the ceremony until we realized that our toddler son has a hard time sitting through dinner much less a two or three hour graduation ceremony. So instead we did the smart thing & went to the pig roast.

L's who is due with their first child in mid-July seems to be handling pregnancy well.


C & his friend, J, did an awesome job with the pig as always. If we saw it beforehand, I wouldn't be able to eat it. Since I didn't though, it was all good.



Our son thought it was chicken! LOL










Since it rained the entire night before, the turnout was pour & the weather very cool but it was still nice to see everyone & hang with friends.














Our son was happy playing with the other kids & exploring C&L's 100+ year old house.
